Limestone volleyball and Washington soccer have been among the area’s top storylines and arguably the best team in their class across the whole state. On Thursday, the Rockets and Panthers both picked up one of their biggest wins yet.
Morton and Illini Bluffs picked up key wins to help lead Thursday’s soccer slate while Heyworth and Tremont were among many schools to do the same on the volleyball court. In golf, the Livingston County Invitational was the day’s big event and Eureka, Olympia and Midwest Central were also winners. Pekin added a sweep in girls tennis.
