Most soccer teams in the area didn’t have to go far on Wednesday as crosstown matchups between Normal West and Normal U-High, Normal Community and Bloomington Central Catholic and Peoria Christian and Richwoods headlined the slate.
Midland and Brimfield volleyball both won in sweeps and more than a handful of local golf teams were victorious, including Normal Community’s girls at the Zeb Gardner Memorial Scramble.
