Washington, PND girls and Morton boys lead area teams in AP statewide rankings

Central Illinois continued to be well-represented in the Associated Press statewide rankings with 14 teams either ranked or receiving votes in the Feb. 5 poll.
Washington and Peoria Notre Dame girls and Morton boys led the way after being ranked in the top 3 of their respective polls for the second straight week. Three Central Illinois boys basketball teams received votes after not receiving any last week.
