2024 Boys Basketball Preview: PND relying on collective effort instead of a No. 1 player after regional-winning season

Last year was a roller coaster for the Peoria Notre Dame Irish. Battling injuries, long road trips, and playing with the motto of “Do it for Dylan”, they finished ninth in the Big 12 before going on a postseason run that included winning a Class 2A regional title on its home court. 


Over the last few seasons, the Irish have been able to rely on a star player, whether it was Noah Reynolds, Cooper Koch or Eoin Dillon. PND doesn’t have that bona-fide Division-I bound basketball presence this season, but can still compete in the top half of the Big 12 with a tight-knit and relatively experienced group.
