2025 Soccer Preview: BCC returns entire roster and has something to prove

BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington Central Catholic boys soccer head coach Tristan Alvarez loves an underdog story.
With a perfect roster retention rate from last season and well over 20 players in the program, he and the Saints are poised to write one of their own.
BCC took a step back in Alvarez’s first year at the helm, but challenged itself with a tough schedule while playing with a young roster that was still acclimating to a new head coach. Now, the Saints are loaded to the brim with experience, led by IHSSCA all-sectional players Sam Allen and Ben Dappen.
The Saints are still remaining humble, despite how good things look on paper heading into the season, but still possess a competitive spirit and a desire to prove that they can return to being one of the area’s top squads.
