2025 Soccer Preview: Reese looking to spark another turnaround with IVC soccer

CHILLICOTHE — Brody Garceau and IVC soccer feel like it’s now or never as their season gets underway.
The Grey Ghosts are seeking their first winning season since 2018 but with 11 seniors on the roster this year, things are bound to take a step up on the turf in Chillicothe this fall.
IVC also welcomes a new head coach and one proven to lead teams to turnarounds as Chris Reese, formerly Peoria Heights’ girls basketball coach, has taken over the program. Reese coached the Patriots for seven years until the 2024-25 season and increased their win total in each of his last five seasons, including a 26-7 run in 2023-24.
