CSM Pick 'Em: Week 1, 2025

A new football season is at the doorstep and Clutch Sports Media’s Pick ‘Em is back for its third straight year.
Each week, six of our staff members will pick the winners of 10 of the top games in the area and provide their comments on key games.
The commencement of the football season features several notable non-conference games, such as Pekin traveling to Plainfield South and Morton hosting Mahomet-Seymour.
Many Big 12 teams will begin the year with key conference games, such as Normal West taking on Peoria Notre Dame, and the same rings true for conference openers for Bloomington Central Catholic, Dee-Mack, Eureka and Princeville.
CSM is proud to bring you a free, live broadcast of our WMBD Game of the Week on ciproud.com as the Metamora Redbirds host the Sterling Golden Warriors from Malone Field on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, CSM will have another free, live broadcast between Normal U-High and Manual from Peoria Stadium at 7:00 p.m. in our Clutch Sports Media Game of the Week, which can be watched on clutchsportsil.com
Our staff has made their predictions for all 11 of the top games in the area in Week 1 with their comments also listed below. Broadcasters for our broadcasted games are ineligible to pick winners for the games that they are broadcasting and will pick the winner of an extra game(s) instead.
