2025 Soccer Preview: Richwoods looking to win when it counts with big senior class

PEORIA — Richwoods soccer knows it belongs in the upper-most tier of teams in Central Illinois.
In the upcoming season though, the Knights want to prove that they can win the big games when it matters.
Head coach Nate Eisfelder, who has led Richwoods to seven straight winning seasons, has a load of experience on his team’s side including a dozen seniors. Headlining that core are defenders Nate Boyer and Daniel Flores, who both earned Big 12 first-team all-conference and IHSCCA all-sectional nods last season.
Richwoods is aiming to be a team that’s no easy task for anyone and looks to use their toughness in hopes of securing their first regional title since 2008.
