2025 Football Preview: Fieldcrest welcomes biggest senior and freshman classes in Meyer’s tenure

MINONK — Nick Meyer is entering his fourth year as Fieldcrest football’s head coach, meaning this season will feel a bit extra special.
The significance behind it lies in the Knights’ largest senior class since he’s been leading the program. In small school football, things like that make all the difference.
“This senior class was my first freshman class,” Meyer said. “It's crazy, we do a signing day thing so we got pictures of them when they're in eighth grade. Now, they're 18 years old and it's just crazy watching how much they've grown as football players, but also as young men.”
