2025 Volleyball Preview: Speed is key for Tri-Valley in challenging for HOIC title

DOWNS — Tri-Valley and Heart of Conference Illinois titles have often gone hand-in-hand over the last decade.
After a top-five finish in the highly-competitive league in her first year as the team’s head coach, head coach Tara Lowell has a vigorous Vikings group that will emphasize speed and experience in her second year.
Led by first-team all-HOIC middle Annabelle Bischoff, Tri-Valley returns nearly its entire starting lineup from last season, giving it plenty of juice while other conference powers look to refill the tank. On top of that, the Vikings are set to welcome an incoming class of freshman that placed third at the IESA state finals under Lowell and look to help the team continue its prolonged success.
