TREMONT — Looking to build off of gradual improvements from his first year at the helm of the Tremont football program, head coach Joe Hageman has kept things busy this summer on the gridiron.
“June for us was pretty much a lot of weight room stuff,” Hageman said. “Then, we ramped things up in July, with our camp and contact day. I was pleased with the kids' work in the summer, I thought we had great attendance. We were right around 30 kids almost every day.”

The Turks consistently showed up as a competitive team last season — in addition to their two dominant wins, they finished within 10 points of their opponents in four of their losses.
