2026 Soccer Preview: Cornerstone looking to be stronger together

BLOOMINGTON – After years of being “the young team,” the Bloomington Cornerstone Christian Cyclones have become among the most experienced teams in Central Illinois.


The Cyclones will be anchored by nine returning varsity starters from last season. This, coupled with head coach Jeremy Knapp’s experience of over 15 years, projects to be a big strength for Cornerstone heading into its 2026 campaign.


The team also had a unique opportunity to bond on a mission trip to Ecuador in July. Together, they provided service in the area and also played against local teams to gain experience ahead of their upcoming season.
