2026 Soccer Preview: Illini Bluffs looking to break regional championship drought with strong core returning

GLASFORD — Fresh off one of its best seasons in program history where it tied the single season record for wins, Illini Bluffs soccer remains on the hunt for a second regional title and first since 2011.
The Tigers bring back a solid core of seniors in Brodie Moore, Ian White, Kash Nolte, and Will Emhoff, the latter two being IHSSCA All-Sectional selections last season. Of the 45 goals Illini Bluffs scored in 2025, 36 of them were scored by returning players including Emhoff’s team-leading 19 goals.
The uber-talented scorer will look to further that mark in 2026, something he has done every year since he was a freshman.
