A busy Tuesday of action in Central Illinois saw dozens contests across multiple sports as Dunlap, Metamora, Peoria Christian, Fieldcrest, Illini Bluffs, Washington, El Paso-Gridley, Pekin and Normal U-High all won in more than one sport.
The Eagles were one of four volleyball teams to win in three sets and Midwest Central won a thrilling match over Tremont. Jackson Orris’ hat trick to lead Dunlap over Normal Community headline the day’s soccer slate.
Mid-Illini matches kicked off in golf with Washington headlining an impressive trio of boys teams at Pine Lakes and Normal U-High girls won a tournament in Pontiac. Several area cross country teams kicked off their seasons and a pair of Mid-Illini squads won in girls tennis.
