2026 Volleyball Preview: Olympia looks for major breakthrough led by handful of key seniors

STANFORD — Olympia volleyball went on a major upswing last year, and it could very well continue into the fall 2026 season.


The Spartans experienced an 11-win improvement in 2025 and finished in the top half of the Sangamo Conference. Many of their key players are back from that squad including Grace Small, who led the team in kills and digs last season, plus Brooklyn Komnick, Kinley Steinkamp, Ashlyn Berges, Myra Books, Gabby Dickhut and Ashlyn Berges.


Olympia checks the boxes of having experience, hard workers and team chemistry and looks to put it all together in hopes of winning its first regional title since 2010.
