NORMAL — Believe Avida and Joyce Lubika didn’t begin playing soccer at the YMCA, for a park district team or even for a travel team.

Avida and Lubika are electrifying attackers and seniors for Normal Community after earning Big 12 all-conference and IHSSCA all-sectional honors in 2024. They seldom hesitate to use bursts of speed or moves that take years of skill and talent to accomplish.
