CSM Power Rankings, Sept. 28, 2026: Olympia, Tri-Valley prove mettle with state-ranked wins
Many of the storylines that have been brewing in Central Illinois high school football for the last few weeks are still relevant topics heading into Week 7 of the season.
Normal Community and Normal West continued to dominate the top of the Big 12, the Mid-Illini is still wide open as a single possession or play could make a world of difference and multiple Heart of Central Illinois Conference teams appear poised for deep postseason runs.
Olympia and Tri-Valley each beat state-ranked foes — and handily so at that — to move up in this week’s Clutch Sports Media power rankings while the rest of the top teams in the area showed stability.
