Normal Community shines on both sides in dominating win over Peoria High
NORMAL — How does that old saying go? Ironmen, tigers & bears?
That’s what it might be now after Normal Community proved their No. 7 ranking in Class 7A after toppling the Peoria High Lions 52-16 on Friday night in Normal.
Normal Community came into the game (5-0) and among the best in class 7A. They also swept their conference schedule (5-0) holding a one game lead over cross town rival Normal West.
On the other hand, Peoria High has had a three-week stretch where they outscored opponents 150-36. Their offense looked to compete with Normal Community but the Ironmen had other plans.
