The Roundup, Sept. 26, 2026: Normal West wins volleyball tournament while BCC extends winning streak in soccer

Central Illinois was treated to a ton of nonstop action on Saturday, headlined by the Intercity volleyball tournament.

Normal West finished the day with a 4-0 record, beating out second-place Normal Community and improved their season record to 15-6.

In soccer, the Bettendorf Tournament of Champions continued and produced a multitude of close games, but the big story was Bloomington Central Catholic’s 4-0 win.

Cross-country also got to experience some Intercity action, as Normal U-High took both the boys and girls team titles. Eureka and IVC also made some noise at their invitationals.
