The most recent batch of games on the Central Illinois football slate didn’t do much to change the status of the top teams in the area.

Teams that were supposed to win won, and won by a lot. Ten area squads won by 30 or more points and few upsets were seen, although IVC, Normal West and Dee-Mack all came close. Normal Community and Farmington proved the most after knocking off previously unbeaten squads.

The Ironmen were one of four teams to elevate in this week’s CSM Power Rankings, with two of those being new entries.

Check out how the CSM Football Power Rankings heading into Week 7 of the regular season shook out below. Area schools in the Mid-Illini and Big 12 make up the teams in the large school rankings while area teams in all other conferences are in the small school rankings.
