CSM Girls Basketball Power Rankings, Jan. 26, 2026: Washington, Tri-Valley re-gain top spots

Few leads are ever completely safe, whether it's on the basketball court or in Clutch Sports Media’s weekly girls basketball power rankings.


After earning top spots last week, Morton and Dee-Mack both fell and gave way to their conference counterparts Washington and Tri-Valley to take over the thrones for the time being. Metamora and Eureka, who were responsible for taking down the Goliaths, both moved up in the rankings as well.


Check out how the best girls basketball teams in the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area stack up below. Teams in the Mid-Illini and the Big 12 are part of the large school rankings while area schools from any other conference are in the small school rankings.
