CSM Pick 'Em: Week 7, 2026
There’s a new feel in the air for high school football teams in October.
The final march before the playoffs start and each game carries more importance for seeding and momentum purposes.
The Week 7 schedule of high school football around Peoria and Bloomington/Normal features a classic Mid-Illini rivalry between Metamora and Washington, a war for first place in the Illini Prairie Conference between Bloomington Central Catholic and St. Joseph-Ogden, a key Big 12 game between Peoria Notre Dame and Bloomington, plus intriguing non-conference games for Normal Community, Heyworth, Elmwood/Brimfield and IVC.
Clutch Sports Media will be providing free, live broadcasts of PND taking on Bloomington and Metamora facing Washington in our WMBD Games of the Week. The latter kicks off at 7:30 p.m. while PND/Bloomington kicks off at 7 p.m. with pregame coverage starting 15 minutes before each game. Both games can be watched on centralillinoisproud.com/games/ and the WMBD+ app.
Six CSM staff members have made their picks for who they think will win in 10 of the top games in the area this week. Broadcasters are ineligible to pick winners for games they are broadcasting and will pick the winner of an 11th game instead.
