CSM Softball Power Rankings, April 27, 2026: Pekin soars, Eureka and BCC join the fold

Signs of an area that’s strong in softball include the top squads battling to close matchups against each other and handling many other games by significant margins.
Central Illinois featured plenty of each last week as the Mid-Illini saw a handful of tight games and the top five small schools in this week’s Clutch Sports Media softball power rankings went a combined 17-2. This week’s rankings features Pekin rising multiple spots and Eureka and Bloomington Central Catholic leading a tightly-packed bunch outside of the top three of the small school rankings.
