CSM Softball Power Rankings, May 11, 2026: Washington, Metamora move up in minor Mid-Illini shake-up

The resume-building is done and softball teams in Central Illinois are now looking to finish the regular season on a good note.
Postseason brackets were released last week with Illini Bluffs, Olympia, Dunlap and Washington all earning No. 1 seeds in their sub-sectionals. But before the playoffs begin, there’s lots at stake left in the final week of the regular season as several teams chase down conference titles and big non-conference wins.
This week’s Clutch Sports Media softball power rankings feature the same 10 teams as last week’s rankings, but in a slightly different order as Washington, Metamora and Normal U-High all slightly elevated their spot.
Check out how the best softball teams in the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area stack up in our CSM Softball Power Rankings below. Teams in the Mid-Illini and the Big 12 are part of the large school rankings while area schools from any other conference are in the small school rankings.
