Dee-Mack, Washington girls ranked No. 1 in final AP statewide rankings of season

There were little to no surprises for Central Illinois teams in the Feb. 18 Associated Press statewide rankings, which marked the final rankings of the year in girls basketball. 


A total of 14 teams were either ranked or received votes, a slight decline from the 17 last week. 


Washington’s and Dee-Mack’s girls teams finished with No. 1 rankings in Class 3A and 1A, respectively, while Illini Bluffs girls, Morton girls, Manual boys and Morton were other area leaders.
