Experience, length and sisters leading Illini Bluffs to top-10 state ranking

GLASFORD — Jim Belville’s signature orange and black shoes and orange blazer haven’t changed since the Illini Bluffs’ run to state in 2024.
His Tigers team has changed a little bit more, as starring roles filled by Lily Luczkowiak and Annabelle Fortin are now owned by Chloe Eeten and Emerson Eeten.
But the Tigers still hold the same desire to keep up the program’s winning tradition and the same sky-high potential for a magical season.
“They had good leadership on that team, they had a lot of seniors,” Chloe Eeten said. “I feel like I'm trying to incorporate that into my game too and [hoping] a lot of these younger players to look up to me and to lead our team to hopefully have a successful season.”
