MACKINAW — Deer Creek-Mackinaw softball player Rease Kelley is always ready to lend a helping hand both on and off the field.
The Chiefs senior has been navigating a busy senior year and typically starts her days in scrubs before ending them in a Dee-Mack uniform. She’s left quite the impact on the Chiefs softball program as her career winds down.
“She is a perfect teammate that you can ask for and a perfect player that doesn't complain, does what she's supposed to do, asks questions [and] always does anything and everything she can to improve herself,” Dee-Mack head coach Blake Uhlman said.
“[She’s] just someone I'm going to miss when she's gone and someone that's made a big impact on Dee-Mack softball.”
Kelley is a multi-sport athlete who has played volleyball and softball since she was six years old and is trying to savor every moment left that she has on the field with her teammates.
