CHAMPAIGN, IL – The Peoria Manual boys basketball team could not end their 15-year drought from the state championship game Thursday afternoon.

The Rams made a late charge in the fourth quarter and fell to Chicago Dyett 54-50 in a hard-fought Class 2A state semifinal matchup.

Manual (22-13) hopes to end its season on a positive note versus Chicago Christ the King on Friday at 11:15 am at the State Farm Center in the Class 2A third-place game.
