Morton’s message: Potters soccer turning heads going into playoffs

MORTON — The Morton Potters girls soccer team wanted to make a statement ontheir senior night.


They ended up sending a booming message. 


Before the game, the Potters honored five seniors that have helped the team to 55 wins, two runner-up finishes in the Mid-Illini Conference, a conference title and three regional plaques. Those seniors were off and running not long afterward, scoring early and often to clinch at least a share of another Mid-Illini crown in an 8-1 win against Dunlap.
