Prina, Washington shut down Joliet Catholic to advance to sectional title: ‘We want this’

CHILLICOTHE — Carter Prina knows a thing or two about stopping offenses and ending dreams. 

The Washington senior built a reputation as being one of the most havoc-wreaking defensive ends on the football field over multiple seasons. On Wednesday, he similarly stymied Joliet Catholic Academy on the baseball field to help Washington win 5-1 in the Class 3A Metamora Sectional semifinals. 

“I don't know…I was thinking before this season more football but after this season, I might be a baseball player,” Prina said.
