Spring Scope-Out: Normal U-High, Brimfield, IVC lead best of rest in baseball

Clutch Sports Media’s Spring Scope-Outs have provided primers on over 20 baseball teams in the Mid-Illini, Big 12 and Heart of Illinois Conferences but Central Illinois’ baseball talent doesn’t stop there. 

Normal U-High and IVC both won Class 2A regional titles last season and are well-stocked with talented pieces that can help them reload instead of rebuild. Brimfield/Elmwood and Farmington form a strong 1-2 Prairieland Conference punch and bring back stars from their respective squads that both won at least 25 games. 

CSM’s final Spring Scope-Out of area baseball teams also feature capsules on who and what to know for 11 other area teams, including a quartet of Inter-County Conference teams (Delavan, Illini Bluffs, Peoria Christian, Peoria Heights), Bloomington Central Catholic, Bloomington Cornerstone, Midland, Midwest Central, Olympia, Princeville and Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn.
