Steele sharpens Steele: Canton wrestling twins looking to finish career strong at state

CANTON — Maddux Steele doesn’t hesitate to say that he’s the older twin by two minutes.
He and his brother, Dyllan Steele, have grown up wrestling alongside and against each other their whole lives and help lead the machine that is Canton wrestling.
Like most would expect, the Steeles are competitive against each other and always trying to find the edge. But at this week’s IHSA State Finals they hope to be equals on top of the podium together.
“I have a lot of confidence thinking I’m going to hold that bracket at seven o'clock on Saturday,” Dyllan Steele said. “I’m going to state thinking I'm unbeatable.”
