The Roundup, April 30, 2026: Washington softball, Dunlap, Brimfield/Elmwood baseball earn walk-off wins, Eisfelder wins 200th game for Richwoods

A wide assortment of conference and non-conference play in baseball, softball and girls soccer highlighted Thursday’s Central Illinois prep sports action.
Normal Community baseball, Dunlap softball, Dunlap baseball and Washington softball all won key conference games with the latter two winning in walk-off fashion. Heyworth, Metamora and Brimfield/Elmwood were among other winners in baseball, as were Tri-Valley, Tremont and Olympia in softball.
East Peoria, Bloomington Central Catholic and Richwoods were among the day’s winners in girls soccer with Richwoods head coach Nate Eisfelder reaching a big coaching milestone. Illini Bluffs boys track and field won the Tomahawk Conference Meet as well.
