A large heap of games on Monday consisted of a mix of conference and non-conference games, where the top four teams in Mid-Illini baseball bolstered their position. Illini Bluffs no-hit ROWVA/Williamsfield in a mercy rule win and Eureka and Brimfield/Elmwood continued their recent strong play in other small school action. All three Normal schools won in baseball.
Metamora beat Washington via a walk-off in softball and Tremont’s Maia Lorengo threw the day’s other no-hitter in an HOIC win. Other sports in action included girls soccer, lacrosse and boys tennis.
