Flag football grabbed the spotlight on Wednesday with six area teams being in action, including Normal Community, Normal West and Bloomington, which all played their first games in program history. Richwoods and Peoria High chalked up wins on the gridiron as well.
Washington’s Will Jaegle led his team to another shutout victory in soccer and IVC and Normal West both triumphed. Peoria High volleyball, Metamora girls golf and Brimfield boys golf were among several other victors in the area.
