The Roundup, Aug. 27, 2026: Three-set matches in volleyball, Morton boys soccer headline Thursday slate
Volleyball matches brought plenty of intensity and comeback victories on Thursday night with several matches that went the distance.
Bloomington Central Catholic and Morton won marquee non-conference matchups in three sets while Eureka, Richwoods and Tremont all won in three as well. Morton boys soccer started off the year with a narrow win over Normal U-High and a pair of area squads also found the win column.
Olympia, Brimfield and Roanoke-Benson all won meets in boys golf and Normal Community girls swimming and diving used several quality performances to take a dual win.
