Monday was a big night in Heart of Illinois Conference girls basketball, which was led by El Paso-Gridley pulling out an overtime win on the back of a big performance from Myli Ehrhardt.
Heyworth, Dee-Mack, Eureka and Tremont were also victorious in conference play and down in Bloomington/Normal, Emme Hurie of Bloomington Central Catholic reached the 1,000 career points milestone in a good win for the Saints.
Additionally, IVC, Morton and Washington added W’s to the resumés in girls hoops and Fieldcrest headlined a small sample of boys teams that experienced similar outcomes.
