The last Tuesday of the boys basketball regular season featured the final conference games for many teams, including Morton who completed a rugged run to the Mid-Illini Conference title.
Other highlights included Eureka winning in overtime, Heyworth and Peoria Christian adding close victories and Brimfield’s Dawson Traphagan scoring his 1,000th career point.
Several girls basketball teams extended their stay in the postseason including Bloomington, Metamora, Normal U-High and Normal West.
