The Roundup, Feb. 27, 2024: Three area teams earn trip to sectional finals, PND and Peoria Heights lose heartbreakers

Tuesday featured five sectional semifinal games all around the area from Canton to Pontiac with state-ranked teams Normal Community, Metamora and Fieldcrest advancing to see another day. Peoria Notre Dame and Peoria Heights had chances to win down the stretch but both teams ultimately fell short and lost by less than five points.
