One thousand was a key number on Wednesday as Morton girls basketball entered elite company by winning its 1,000th game in program history and East Peoria guard Jackson Ahrens scored his 1,000th career point.
Metamora and Dunlap were also victorious in girls hoops, as was Bloomington Cornerstone in boys hoops. Limestone, Illini Bluffs and Manual gathered for a wrestling tri-meet as well.
