Dunlap softball has ridden the strong pitching and hitting of Sutton Centoni all season and it was only fitting that the Eagles’ star sent them to state for the first time since 1992 with a walk-off hit in Monday’s super-sectional game.
Brimfield/Elmwood’s state bid came up short, Washington ran into a buzzsaw and Bloomington Central Catholic’s best season in team history came to an end after a late spurt from Williamsville.
