The Roundup, March 21, 2026: Tremont, Tri-Valley, IVC big winners on diamond, Dunlap track excels

One of the busiest days of the spring sports season featured 25 baseball games, 19 softball games, 10 soccer matches and multiple track and field meets and Saturday’s Roundup covers every one of them.
Among the day’s long list of highlights were Tremont, Tri-Valley, IVC and Eureka winning in baseball and softball and doubleheaders for several teams, including Metamora and Normal Community softball.
Six area soccer teams, including Limestone and Canton won in shutout fashion and Richwoods and Dunlap met in a big non-conference battle. Dunlap’s boys and girls track teams had great showings at the Galesburg’s Last Chance Indoor Invite and several of Central Illinois’ top girls track teams competed at the Bloomington Indoor Invite. Five out of the area's six lacrosse teams were in action as well.
