Morton doubled up with wins on the baseball and softball field on Thursday, Peoria Notre Dame won big in softball and girls soccer and Normal U-High were victors in baseball and girls soccer as well.
Elsewhere, Illini Bluffs baseball won its third straight in a key ICAC game and El Paso-Gridley softball won a wild slugfest and Brimfield/Elmwood and Normal Community softball continued their winning ways. Several soccer and track and field teams were in action, including Illini Bluffs and Delavan who fared well at the Tomahawk Conference Meet.
