Many teams took a step toward closing out regular season conference titles on Monday’s slate of games. Normal Community won the Big Twelve Conference title with their win over cross-town rival Bloomington for their 16th conference win on the season.
Lauren Shuey’s heroics helped Bloomington softball walk off Mt. Zion as many of the softball games on Monday were non-conference matchups. Dunlap, Bloomington Catholic Central, Tri-Valley and Brimfield/Elmwood all kept up in their winning ways as teams with over 20 wins on the season.
PND, Normal U-High, BCC and Limestone all won on the soccer pitch and Eureka won the Heart of Illinois Conference Meet in boys track
