The Roundup, May 12, 2026: Morton, PND soccer, Metamora boys track win conference titles, Normal Community downs U-High in baseball

Many of the various spring sports saw impactful results on Tuesday, including in girls soccer where Morton and Peoria Notre Dame both beat strong foes with shutout wins to clinch conference titles.


Metamora boys track and field also cinched up a Mid-Illini title on Tuesday with Jaiduan Cranford leading the way as he and several others set meet records. Normal Community won a marquee game with Normal U-High in baseball and Bloomington Central Catholic pulled an upset win. Washington and Metamora both won key games in softball as well and several area boys lacrosse and tennis teams were in action too.
