The Roundup, Oct. 14, 2025: Morton hands Limestone first loss, Dunlap, Normal U-High, Illini Bluffs clinch conference titles

The stakes were high on Tuesday as several conference championships were decided and many games went down to the wire. 

After 26 wins to start the season, Limestone volleyball fell to fellow conference power Morton for its first defeat of the year. Normal U-High and Illini Bluffs locked up conference titles as 10 volleyball matches went to three sets. 

Dunlap nearly stumbled but won the Mid-Illini soccer title outright while Big 12 results led to a shared conference title. Peoria Christian and Mendota played a thriller between two Class 1A powers that came down to the final minute.
