Saturday’s slate of high school sports had a ton of playoff action in soccer and girls tennis as well as some great volleyball weekend slates.
Both Normal Community and Limestone had strong days in volleyball and the regional quarterfinals had three area teams get eliminated very early.
Bloomington, Peoria Notre Dame, Eureka and Normal U-High won conference titles in cross country.
Girls tennis sectionals provided opportunities to win titles, which multiple talented players from Central Illinois did.
