The Roundup, Oct. 22, 2025: Princeville, Illini Bluffs volleyball grab wins

Wednesday didn’t feature much action in Central Illinois, but Princeville and Illini Bluffs volleyball were victorious to help gain momentum with the playoffs beginning next week.

In volleyball

Princeville 2 Knoxville 0: Princeville (11-19, 6-5 Lincoln Trail) crushed Knoxville, at home, with a score of 25-10 in the first set and 25-12 in the second. Claire Sutherland secured seven kills and four blocks on the night to lead the Princess while Bethany Sennett provided 13 assists and two aces. Kinsley Cowser led the team in digs, logging 13.
