The Roundup, Oct. 29, 2025: Washington, Normal West advance to sectional finals in soccer, six 1A volleyball teams win in regionals

Washington and Normal West soccer will duke it out for a sectional title in Washington on Saturday after both teams won their sectional semifinal games via shutout on Wednesday. 

Six Class 1A volleyball teams in the area advanced to regional title games, including Fieldcrest, Midland and Tremont.
