Defensive coordinators around the area likely weren’t too happy on Friday night. Their offensive counterparts, though, had a different story as many teams put up crooked numbers in Week 6 of the IHSA football season.
Normal Community battled hard with Bloomington in a see-saw affair and Normal West also stepped up in the clutch to pick up a non-conference win on the road. Farmington, Dunlap, Bloomington Central Catholic and El Paso-Gridley all moved to 6-0 while several others became playoff eligible at 5-1.
